Victoria Wanjiku Muraya is a Kenyan author, speaker and entrepreneur whose writing explores resilience, motherhood and the possibility of beginning again. Her memoir, The Soft Place After the Storm, follows a journey across borders with her four children, shaped by faith, upheaval and the search for a life that feels whole.
Before publishing her memoir, Victoria built a natural skin- and hair-care manufacturing business. Her supplied biography describes how that work grew into community training: teaching women product formulation and helping them take steps towards businesses of their own. Travel, homeschooling and family life continue to inform the stories she tells.
She previously contributed to the collaborative book Do It Afraid. The Soft Place After the Storm is her solo memoir, bringing grief, humour, tenderness and courage into the same conversation. Her launch brought readers and fellow authors together with Rose Ssali, her publisher, to celebrate that next chapter.
